Dec 10 Evening: Snow North Of NYC

8:23 PM: Over the last few days, a clipper was mentioned in the forecast, expected to bring light snow north of NYC. While NYC saw a few flakes this afternoon and evening, a band of steady light snow formed north of NYC and is currently in SW Connecticut, moving east.

Over the next several hours, places in southern Connecticut should expect to see a steady light snow falling for at least 1-2 hours with up to 1/4 to 1/2 inch of snow where the heavier snow falls, with light snow tapering off in Westchester/Rockland counties and scattered flurries for Orange county and northern New Jersey.

Stay tuned for an update later tonight about the expected rain storm on Sunday, the cold that will follows, and another potential storm for the 16th of November which according to the latest models may bring snow to the south of NYC but needs to be kept an eye on.
